Words I’m truly excited to say…✨✨
6 years ago I started professional photography. I started with headshots and branding, basically just a slight sidestep over from the marketing positions I’d held at other businesses. Eventually I found my love in Weddings.
I’ll never forget my first. I cried, and instantly knew I’d found “my thing”. While some photographers found the stress and pressure of weddings to be too much, I THRIVED on it. And to be a part of someone’s most important day was everything to me.
It’s now the truest reflection of my heart to say, not missing a moment of being with my 3 little ones is *everything to me*.
My wonderful and always supportive husband has worked hard to get to the point that it’s not necessary for me to stretch myself thin in other areas. And instead in this season of littles, and starting to homeschool, I’m able to 100% focus on “home-making” life.
It’s with such bitter/sweet emotions that I’m able to announce I will be shooting my last wedding for the foreseeable future this coming September. ♥️
I’m not sure that I’ll come back to the wedding photography gig ever, or maybe this will be a seasonal hiatus! Either way, I’m up for whatever is in store for me.
I just know right at this moment, home is where I’m needed most. And honestly, I’m so excited to be here. 🥰
Thank you to everyone who’s been following along. Thank you to all my clients. All my brides. All of their sweet families. It’s been the best of times.
With all the love in the world,
Emily ✨✨
