Oh, and bring your sleeping bag and tent. We’re camping too in beautiful Fall Creek Falls State Park .
Responsible Stewardship is proud to partner with Fall Creek Falls State Park, Tennessee State Parks, and Wildlife Resources Agency for Caught Up in Conservation — a month-long effort centered around conservation, education, and hands-on service in one of Tennessee’s most iconic state parks.
Our portion of the event will focus on the volunteer weekend, where we’ll put Responsible Stewardship’s mission into action: helping make our outdoor spaces and public lands better places to recreate.
This is what Education Through Action looks like.
Volunteers will have opportunities to take part in hands-on projects around Fall Creek Falls, including:
• Trash pickup around Fall Creek Falls Lake
• Fish habitat work to support a healthier aquatic ecosystem
• Restoration projects around the park
Whether you can give a full day or just a little time, your effort matters. Every bag of litter removed, every habitat improvement, and every hour served helps protect the places we all love to visit, explore, fish, hike, and enjoy.
To help make the weekend even more meaningful, free camping will be available Friday through Sunday at Eli Field Group Campground for those participating in the volunteer weekend. We’ll also have free s’mores as a chance to gather, connect, and enjoy time together after a day of giving back.
Responsible Stewardship believes that once you see a need, you have an opportunity to take action. This volunteer weekend is a chance to do exactly that — to physically invest your time, make an immediate positive impact, and help leave Fall Creek Falls better than we found it.
Volunteer registration is now open, and some opportunities have limited spots available. If you want to be part of the hands-on service projects during Caught Up in Conservation, don’t wait to claim your spot.
