What I’ve been saying- why my events, yoga, and reiki services are for women only. We must create space to just be.

There’s a private island in Finland called SuperShe Island where men are not allowed, and it was created by entrepreneur Kristina Roth as a women only wellness retreat. The island is located off the coast of Raasepori in southern Finland and was designed as a peaceful getaway where women could relax, recharge, and focus entirely on themselves.

Kristina Roth said the idea came from wanting to create a space free from distractions, where women could enjoy fitness, healthy food, nature, and self care without the pressure to impress anyone or adjust their energy around men. Instead of being a typical luxury destination, it was built around wellness, privacy, and emotional reset.

That’s what made the island go viral. To some people it sounded extreme, but to others it felt like a bold and refreshing idea… a place created purely for women to unplug, reconnect, and breathe.
