Child-like wonder fills my readers young and old, and expression of thoughts and feelings is made safe through the story-telling. As a non-traditional book about bereavement, Merin offers all of us an invitation to normalize grief in its many forms and provides us with a present companion.

Merin connects us on a basic human level and encourages us to explore our own capacity and unique paths of grief and healing and the courage we have to take them. Stories are so very important right now.
