I’m Elizabeth, lead photographer and founding owner of Magnolia Memories. I come from a long line of creative women - my great grandmother, grandmother, and mom all sew, knit, and create beautiful things - my mom is one heck of a landscape and nature photographer. It’s truly in my blood and part of my soul to create. I started my journey and passion in photography in 2013 after a phone call from m
y mom. She said to me "You have always taken such beautiful pictures - have you ever thought about doing that professionally?" Well, of course I hadn't! But that lit a fire inside of me that has only burned brighter year after year. I threw myself into learning and growing in this new-to-me art form, and by 2017 I was ranked one of the top 100 child photographer's in the world by the Shoot & Share contest and had my work featured in galleries all over the world. Now, here I am, recently moved to Harrisonburg in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia ready to launch my creativity in the world and share this special part of my soul with you by capturing every memory and every milestone that is special to you and what makes you, your family, and your children unique. Magnolia Memories isn’t just a photography business, or a brand, or pieces of digital art - it’s a lifestyle full of heart & soul, joy, generosity, kindness and above all love.
