One final round from the Knollwood Farm Spring Show! This lively group of riders worked on goals, learned new things, and had a BLAST in the ring on Sunday! The most incredible group of judges, ringmasters, helpers, and trainers showed up for these riders and their families, and it is such a joy to watch everyone come together for a joyful day of success!

Golden light, easy laughter, and the kind of love that makes everything feel a little softer.

Shannon and Mike showed up ready to have fun together, and that's exactly what made this session so special. From dancing through the grass to soaking in the sunset by the water, every moment felt effortless and completely them.

We cannot wait to celebrate their wedding day.

What a beautiful day! Dan and Michelle spoiled their guests with a spectacular wedding celebration at the Golden Mast. Family and friends were treated to a good old-fashioned Wisconsin fish fry, followed by a dance party for the ages. The evening was capped off with a fireworks show and a fascinating dance floor appearance by a stilt walker!

Congratulations, Dan and Michelle, and thank you for a wonderful time!

Saturday in the arena was such a fun one to capture. Between the encouraging atmosphere, the wonderful ringmasters, and excellent judging from Margit, it was clear all day long how much care and dedication goes into these riders and horses.

One of my favorite parts of photographing in-barn shows at Knollwood Farm is getting to watch the riders grow from season to season. Seeing the progress since the fall show has been so special, and it’s obvious how much time, patience, and heart the trainers pour into every rider.

We’re sharing just a small peek from the arena on Saturday — about 20 favorites out of the hundreds of images captured throughout the day.

More moments from a really special Sunday at the barn

One of the sweetest parts of the day was watching our youngest riders gain confidence in and out of the ring with so much encouragement surrounding them. These classes may look small to some, but they hold some very big accomplishments — brave first rides, first shows, and so many proud smiles.

We loved seeing parents, families, and friends gathered around to cheer everyone on, along with our older riders who jumped in all day long to help lead horses, steady nerves, fix tack, and support the younger kids however they could. That kind of kindness and teamwork is what makes Knollwood Farm such a special place.

Thank you again to Margit for judging all weekend, all the ringmasters and volunteers for all of their hard work, and especially to our incredible school horses for being patient teachers and trusted partners for every rider who walked through the gate.

Some extra sweet moments from Sunday’s show day

These photos were captured outside the ring by one of Knollwood Farm's very own show barn riders during her first time ever behind the camera — well done, Leighton! We are proud of you and your many talents!

Sunday’s show featured many younger and more novice riders, and one of the best parts of the day was watching how supported they were every step of the way. From parents and grandparents cheering at the rail, to our older riders stepping up to help lead horses in leadline classes and lend a hand wherever needed, this barn family showed up in the best way.

A huge shoutout to this weekend's judge, Margit, our ringmasters, and all of the helping hands that kept the day running so smoothly. And of course… thank you to the very best school horses in the world for taking such good care of everyone out there. 🤍🐴

This may have been one of the most joy-filled parts of the entire day!

The Knollwood Farm riders and horses took part in a charity game benefiting Rogers Behavioral Health, racing to jump off their horses onto towels embroidered with each horse’s name — and the laughter and cheering from around the barn was nonstop.

It was equal parts chaos, teamwork, heart, and horse-girl determination 🐴✨
