Some of my favorite clients each week have four paws, wagging tails, and endless personality. 💛🐾

These two little charmers at Green Acre Labradors are growing up way too fast, and I feel incredibly lucky to document every stage of their journey. From sleepy snuggles to playful zoomies, every week brings new little quirks, bigger paws, and even sweeter memories.

It’s such a privilege to preserve these moments for their future families because these tiny puppies won’t stay tiny for long. Until next week’s adventure, sweet pups. 📸🐶

There’s something surreal about pressing send.

A couple of days ago, I delivered my first fully edited wedding films to one of the sweetest couples, and it still doesn’t quite feel real. Months of anticipation, one unforgettable day, hours of storytelling in the edit… all wrapped up into a film they’ll be able to relive for the rest of their lives.

This moment, in front of the breathtaking Michigan Central Station, is one I keep coming back to. The architecture, the light, the quiet between them—it feels like time stood still for just a second. That’s the magic I chase every time I pick up a camera. Not just beautiful footage, but the feeling of being there all over again.

What an incredible honor it is to preserve the laughter, the tears, the vows, and the little moments in between. Thank you for trusting Thompson Studios with a piece of your story. I truly hope these films become family heirlooms that are cherished for generations.

There are ribbon cuttings… and then there are celebrations that truly mean something.

Today I had the privilege of capturing the ribbon cutting for OakBrook Senior Living, hosted by the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce. It’s always exciting to celebrate a new chapter for a local business, but it’s even more special when that business is dedicated to enriching the lives of our seniors.

A huge shout-out to Michelle Hatfield, who is quite literally an angel. Her heart for serving others shines through in everything she does, and she’s out there making a difference—saving the world one senior at a time. People like Michelle remind us that compassion, kindness, and community are still very much alive.

Some moments just have a way of coming full circle. ❤️

Back in February, I had the honor of photographing Mom and Dad’s wedding… and this sweet little guy was still safely tucked away in Mom’s tummy. Last Sunday I had the absolute privilege of meeting him and capturing the very beginning of his story outside the womb.

Newborn sessions are some of the most special moments I get to photograph. These tiny fingers, sleepy snuggles, and brand-new expressions change so quickly, and preserving them is something I never take for granted.

Here’s to starting the week with a serious cuteness overload. 🥹 Welcome to the world, little one—it was so wonderful finally getting to meet you Baby Deacon. 💙

Smoke or no smoke… Food Truck Friday was still one for the books! 🌮🚚☀️

It was wonderful spending the evening with our friends from the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Pinckney Putnam Hamburg Hell Chamber of Commerce, catching up with familiar faces, making new connections, and seeing our local community come together.

From the incredible food trucks to the amazing vendor booths, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It’s events like these that remind us just how special our local businesses and communities truly are.

A little smoky sky wasn’t about to stop us from supporting local, sharing laughs, and creating new memories. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the night such a success—we’re already looking forward to the next one!
