DEPOT DAYS HEIRLOOM PORTRAITS — UPDATE! 🤍

First, THANK YOU for your patience! I’ve narrowed thousands of photos down to 500+ images that I’m still editing. Heirloom portraits require some of my most detailed, time-consuming work, and with this being my busiest season, I appreciate your understanding!

A quick reminder of what to expect:
Every family will receive ONE complimentary heirloom-edited image, courtesy of cullmanregional! Any additional images included will be a bonus and will receive my standard editing, not heirloom retouching.

CRMC generously sponsored my time for this event, and the turnout far exceeded anything we anticipated! Because of that, additional complimentary edits or special requests cannot be accommodated. Additional heirloom retouching will be available for purchase.

Galleries are expected within the next few weeks! I’m sharing an example of what you can expect to receive.

Newborn ➝ ONE ➝ TWO ➝ THREE ➝ and now FOUR🥹🤍

Watching Ella Claire grow up in front of my camera has been such a privilege. There’s something so special about getting to capture the same families year after year — these babies grow, families change, and somehow I get to preserve a little piece of it all.

Almost 10 years behind the camera, and I still can’t believe I get to call this my job. I truly have the BEST clients. Thank you for continuing to choose me, trust me, and support this little dream of mine🫶🏼📸

WOW. I truly don’t even know where to begin except to say THANK YOU.

If you saw the line for heirloom portraits today and decided to keep walking…I honestly don’t blame you 😂 I arrived back downtown 45 minutes early, and there was already a line waiting for ME!

I’ll be transparent—the overwhelming joy, heat, and sheer number of people waiting got the best of me for a minute, and I had a legitimate panic attack🥴 I somehow kept photographing through the tears, but I absolutely could not have made it through today without my village.

My mom came back to save me, Elli—my right hand and one of my 2027 seniors— jumped in wherever I needed her, and two wonderful Depot Days volunteers helped keep everything moving. I am SO incredibly grateful for each of them.

And to every single family who stood in the heat, waited patiently, encouraged me, asked for a business card, or simply trusted me to photograph your babies: thank you, thank YOU, THANK YOU!🤍

If I’m blessed enough to do this again next year, we’re scheduling an intermission because WHEW. Y’all put me to WORRRRK😂

With more than 2,300 images to sort through and edit, I’m currently estimating approximately 3–4 weeks for delivery. These heirloom portraits receive detailed editing, so I can guarantee ONE beautifully finished heirloom image per person photographed. If you receive more than one in your gallery, consider it a little bonus🤪

Your heirloom image will be available to download for FREE. You’ll also have the option to purchase professional prints directly through your gallery. If you choose to order prints, THANK YOU—you’re supporting my small business even more, and I appreciate it more than you know.

It’s taken me almost 10 years behind a camera to confidently say this:

I’m really good at my job 😅📸

Yes, I’m a portrait photographer—but that’s only part of what I do. I’ve photographed weddings, newborns, couples, seniors, headshots, businesses, events, and plenty of lifestyle, journalistic + documentary-style work.

But a professional concert? That was a first 😂 Which is wild considering I’ve attended somewhere around 75 HANSON concerts 🤪

I wasn’t there as the hired photographer—just a huge fan with my camera—but 10 years of understanding settings, lighting, movement, composition, and anticipating a moment before it happens translates.

It reminded me that you don’t have to put me in a photography box. Portraits may be my bread and butter, but 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 is what I do.

Professional photography comes at a cost, but there’s value in a decade of experience behind the camera🤍
