I went to the ‘Tute yesterday (of the Chicago variety) with .

Herschel was hanging out (on the wall) so I paid him a visit and snapped his pic.

The ‘Tute has like two of JMC’s work, I think, and ONE of them is always off display.

But I’ll gladly add this to my collection of ‘works by JMC I’ve seen in person’.

Kitchen delights!

Every week I pick up a box of veggies and every other week I get a dozen eggs included.

All organic - what a treat!

A few years back my doc challenged me to stay OUT of the grocery stores and source my food elsewhere.
🥗🐄
There are alternate ways to get your food.
NOW is a good time to explore those avenues.
Look into farmer’s markets and CSAs (consumer supported agriculture) in your area.

Even here near us, there is still time to plant!
Try growing your own food!

I didn’t want to look - figured I had ruined the shot. Such a dumb mistake.

I hear the level bee:

It’s bee season!

Busy, busy,busy!

A week ago, TWO bees got stuck in my hair!
😳
One stung me and I was in the garage doing my best imitation of a crazy person when John walked in to find me bent over, dancing in place, desperately raking through my hair and whimpering.
The remaining bee was throwing itself against my scalp and VERY angry and I was not looking forward to another sting in the head. It really hurts.

John came right over and tried to help but it merely prompted me to run in circles and make high pitched wailing noises rather than whimper.
😂
By the time John caught me, the second bee had stung me; rescue efforts turned into the search and recovery of stingers imbedded in my scalp.
😂
Never a dull moment around here…

When you’re the goodest boy at the firehouse.

I spotted this doggie in NYC doing his thing.
I’m sure you can connect the dots and see he was relaxing.
He was so friendly, so well behaved; total fire - he pulled me in with his siren’s song.
🤣

I can’t come up with anything else.

Sunshine, honey, and sweet stuff.
I’ll let you decide which is which.

I’ve been sans phone.
Went out Saturday night with friends; left it in the restaurant.
Sunday afternoon I thought everyone hated me.
Then I realized…’missing phone’.
Restaurant was closed at 4:00 pm.
Closed Mondays.
Have a church thing this morning.
We’ll be reunited this afternoon.
Meh.
I have a love/hate relationship with the electronic leash/lifesaver.

At first glance, I thought they were selling miniature hippos.
(My mind ‘works’ by pinging all over the place & jumping to completely illogical conclusions.)

Btw, they are hairless Guinea pigs and they sort of freak me out.
In a funny way.
