We’re headed into retreat week so I thought I’d share a little behind the scenes details about myself (April).

No matter how many times I host a retreat/workshop or capture a wedding, I will get nervous. My nerves don’t come from fear but from a desire to provide the best possible experience I can provide.

I have and will always be an introvert. That being said, I love my job and the art I get to create. I learned early on that if I wanted to provide the best experience, I had to step up and be bold (dare I say direct even). My job can only get better when I confidently voice what I want. This isn’t the easiest thing for a self proclaimed introvert! 🫣

So as we head into retreat week, I am so very honored by the vendors, couples, and attendees that are joining us. I’m thankful I get to dream alongside you and create something beautiful. I hope you’ll leave more confident in yourselves and your path. And I hope you’ll leave knowing you have people in your corner.

It also happens to be busy season for us wedding photographers! Getting sweet text from our brides like we got last night (shout out Ainsley) is some of the best fuel to get us through this crazy season. I’m always blown away by the emails and messages from brides saying “we choose you.” It will never get old and it will never not mean the world to us!

So thank you from the bottom of my heart. For trusting this 5’4 introvert who still gets butterflies before any event. Who has to hype herself up to have most face to face conversations. And who might disappear for 2-3 minutes for a recharge when she’s peopled out. Your belief and trust in me isn’t taken for granted.♥️

Congratulations to the Bonura’s! 🥂

Ali & Chip celebrated their wedding day in New Orleans at Pavilion of the Two Sisters in City Park. Their wedding ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Catherine of Siena Church. Their day was filled with so much joy and fun that were still recovering! 💕
