Late last fall, I had the privilege of photographing the Schmitt family shortly after they welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world! Even with the Montana wind and cold doing its best to steal the show, these horses took great care of their little cowboys every step of the way.

Watching three big brothers love on their baby sister was something special. I have a feeling this little cowgirl won’t have any trouble keeping up with her brothers and they’ll always be right by her side. ❤️

Royce is about as genuine as they come. Whether he’s helping on the ranch, turning wrenches, representing FFA, or showing up for his family and community, he does it all without needing the spotlight.

Laid-back, hardworking, and proud of where he comes from, Royce is the kind of guy who’s easy to root for. It was a pleasure getting to capture this season of life and all the things that make him who he is!
