From photograph to finished artwork.

The Ranchos church was photographed in the middle of summer, but infrared transformed the New Mexico light into something that almost feels like snow.

I carried those beautiful whites into the finished piece, allowing my hand-painted Marian figure to emerge through the architecture.

Two separate worlds becoming one image…
