Everyone sees the finished gallery.
The perfectly edited images.
The soft tones, the emotions, the storytelling.

What they don’t see is this.

Editing with tiny hands pulling at me.
A toddler climbing on my shoulders.
Little fingers covering my mouth while I’m trying to color correct.
Being squeezed, climbed on, touched out, exhausted… while still trying to meet deadlines and deliver memories people will cherish forever.

Behind every small business, every creative, every photographer mom — there are silent battles happening off camera. The balancing act between being present for your children and present for your clients. The late nights. The interrupted workflow. The pressure we put on ourselves to still create something beautiful, even when life feels chaotic.

Some days it looks professional.
Some days it looks like survival mode with Lightroom open in one hand and a toddler attached to the other.

But somehow, the work still gets done.
The galleries still get delivered.
The love behind the art never changes.

So if you’re a parent building something while raising tiny humans at the same time — I see you. The behind-the-scenes may be messy, loud, and overwhelming, but it’s also proof that we’re doing two hard things at once.

And honestly? That deserves more credit than people realize.
