Attachment is the point. 🤍
Every kid we’ve been blessed to care for needs to know the most fundamental truth that they ARE loved. They are tremendously loved by their creator, and we are honored to share that love for as long as they need us.
Foster care has stretched us, humbled us, and broken our hearts in ways we never expected. But somehow, in all the heartbreak, we’ve also experienced the goodness of God. God has been near, and that is enough.
Foster Care isn’t easy. It changes you.
And still… we are endlessly grateful that we get to do it.
