This past Wednesday evening, I had the opportunity to photograph the Royal Oak Leprechauns baseball team, and it was an incredible experience! The game was exciting from start to finish, and it was a lot of fun to watch.

I also had the chance to put my new 200–400mm lens to work, and I couldn't have picked a better event to test it. The reach and image quality allowed me to capture the intensity, emotion, and action on the field.

I'm looking forward to sharing some of my favorite shots from the game. Thank you to the Royal Oak Leprechauns for a great evening of baseball!

This past Friday, I had the opportunity to photograph Carlos for a professional headshot and full-body portrait session. We met at the Detroit Riverwalk, which provided a beautiful backdrop for his photos.

Carlos plans to use these images for his LinkedIn profile and other social media platforms to enhance his professional presence. I'm also looking forward to working with him and his family again for their family portrait session in October 2026.

Today, Melody and I went to the zoo. We arrived around 3:30, thinking it stayed open until 8:00 p.m., but we were wrong—it closed at 5:00 p.m.

Even though our visit was shorter than we planned, I still managed to capture a few photos. Most of the animals were staying cool and hiding from the heat, so they weren't very active.

I also had the chance to test out my new Nikon 200-400mm f/4 lens, and I'm looking forward to seeing what it can really do. Maybe I'll head back on my birthday, or make a trip to the Toledo Zoo for another photography adventure.

Every outing is a chance to learn and improve. Stay tuned for a few of the photos I was able to capture!
