It’s been over 14 years since I stepped foot into BHS as the role of a teacher. I had the joy to work alongside Trisha LaLumondier in the 2000s and early 2010s as chorus teacher/ music director at BHS. To my delight, I got to reprise that role one more time with HADESTOWN. The students accepted me as one of their own without hesitation. They had grace for all of my mistakes, have trusted me to guide them in this challenging and fulfilling music, and have risen to the task in ways that are difficult to number. They have brought me (us) so much joy over the last few months. Watching their growth from where we started to where we are now is a journey of dedication and heart that is wholly unmatched. What a joy! Thank you Trisha, for asking me in December if I could “help out.” And thank you, HADESTOWN cast, for letting me mess up the piano parts every single time.

SPRING MINIS!🍋🌿

Hello y'all!!
I am hoping to offer two types of spring mini sessions this year!
Here's what I'm thinking...

Spring Meadow Minis
Below is a sample of the spring meadow minis. I will be announcing the dates next week. They will be held in Hendersonville or Gallatin. Still nailing down location, but it will be this location or something similar. I'm looking at late April for these.

Vintage Romance Minis
These spring minis are more stylized...think outdoors by a sunlit tree, with draped antique sheers and lace in the breeze, flowers and fruits...whimsical and dreamy. Perfect for kids, mommy and me, families, couples. I will post some inspo for those soon. Those will likely be end of March/ early April. Hendersonville or Gallatin.

Sessions will be 15m, 25+ images, $295

Should I wait until spring for an outdoor session?

I mean we all love a bright, warm spring session with fresh foliage. But lemme tell ya, I looove shooting on a warmer day in the winter. It's got that yummy low-in-the-sky warm sun, the foliage is nice and neutral, and NO BUGS lol. These were taken in February last year and I am crazy about them. If this feels like your vibe, let me know. I've got some openings in February and early March...and we can be flexible with the days to shoot for warm weather!

For those of you wanting the springtime, good news! I will be announcing a couple of spring minis (including a whimsical boho set up - eeek!) very soon...so stick around!
