National Best Friends Day feels like the perfect day to share this crew. These 9 boys just wrapped up their 8th grade year and their final chapter of middle school together. Over the years, they've shared so much more than classrooms...some have played basketball together, some have run cross country and track together, and some have battled it out on the football field together. Through it all, they've built friendships that have lasted since their elementary school days.
One of their requests for this session was recreating the iconic poster from the book/movie "The Outsiders". They read it in their amazing 8th grade English teacher, Mrs. Taylor's class and even got the opportunity to visit the The Outsiders House Museum in Tulsa. That story made quite an impression on them!
These boys kept me laughing the entire session. They're a bunch of goofballs, no doubt about it, but they're also genuinely great kids. The kind of kids who make you excited about the future and hopeful for what's ahead.
As they head off to high school together, I hope they never lose the friendships, memories, and brotherhood they've built over all these years. Here's to the next adventure, boys. I have a feeling the best is yet to come.

There are some families that just feel like home, and the Griffith family is definitely one of them. I've known different members of this crew for years. I went to church with Cassandra, Dustin and their crew, got to know Joey and his family through church camp, and got to know Maggie and Charlie at camp as well. It was such a joy to finally meet the parents behind these two great kids!
The whole family gathered at The Flower Meadow (which was GORGEOUS!) to celebrate the matriarch of the family, Debbie, on her birthday. And what better way to mark such a special occasion than with a large family session surrounded by gorgeous blooms and the people who love you most? Happy Birthday, Debbie! I hope your day was filled with all the love and joy that you pour into your family. Thank you, Griffith family, for allowing me to capture these memories for you.

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to watch families grow through the years. This sweet family is extra special because they're family! I've had the privilege of taking pictures for my cousin and her crew several times over the years, and it has been so much fun watching their little family grow and change with each session. These kiddos are an absolute blast! They have the biggest personalities, kept me on my toes the entire time, and made sure there was never a dull moment. The laughs, the energy, and the sweet moments in between are what make sessions like this so memorable.
Thank you for trusting me to capture these memories year after year. Katie, watching your family grow has truly been so fun, and I can't wait to see what the next chapter brings!

There’s just something about a cap & gown session that makes it all feel real.
This is Bixby Senior, Addison Rowe! We explored downtown Tulsa for her session and she absolutely rocked every second of it. Between the city backdrop, the sunshine, and Addison’s bubbly personality, this session was such a fun one to shoot.
In just a few short months, Addison will be heading to Oklahoma State University to start an exciting new chapter and I know she’s going to do amazing things. Wishing her the best as she begins her college journey.

I got to hang out with Erin Chew again for her cap & gown session and WOW! We made our way to the breathtaking Philbrook Museum of Art and I still can’t believe that after almost 15 years of photography… I had NEVER shot there before!
Honestly, pictures do not even do this place justice. Everywhere you turn is absolutely stunning, and it ended up being the perfect backdrop for Erin’s session. Beauty AND brains, because as you can see, Erin is a Salutatorian of the Class of 2026.

I’m so glad Erin chose this location because it quickly became one of my favorite places I’ve ever photographed. Congratulations, Erin!

There’s something special about getting to photograph seniors whose families have become a part of your life over the years. This is Henryetta Senior, Parker Webster.
I first got to know the Webster family several years ago when Parker’s little brother, Bentley, was in my class and quickly became good friends with my son, Grayson. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of watching what a great family they are, so I was truly excited when they asked me to take Parker’s senior pictures.
Parker made this session easy...laid back, respectful, and just an all around great kid to be around. It’s always an honor getting to capture such an important season of life, especially for families that mean so much to our small community.
Congratulations, Parker! I can’t wait to see where life takes you next.

Some sessions just hit a little differently when you realize you’ve watched these kids grow up right before your eyes.
This is Shannan Corkerin. While I never personally had Shannan in my class, I still remember her being in my co-worker’s classroom during my very first year teaching at Henryetta. Years later, I got the honor of taking her high school senior pictures… and now here we are again, celebrating another huge milestone.
Shannan will soon graduate from Tulsa Community College after completing the Cardiovascular Technician Program, and I honestly just think that is so incredible. Watching these students grow into hardworking, successful adults is one of my favorite parts of this job and this community.
It’s been so fun getting to document different chapters of her life, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for her!

Meet Ethan Gold, Class of 2026 at Henryetta High School!
This session was such a great one. We headed out to his family’s land, and it made for the perfect setting to capture who Ethan is. From getting to watch him shoot to spending some time out by the water while he fished, it was fun just seeing him do his thing. Those are always the best kinds of sessions....real, laid-back, and true to you.
I always love when seniors choose locations and activities that mean something to them, and this one definitely didn’t disappoint.
Ethan, congratulations on your upcoming graduation! Wishing you all the best in whatever comes next.
