My stock photo sales (not getting rich in this lifetime):
On 500px, I've had 13 sales for $10.09 since 2016. Some sell for $0.04 and some go for up to $1.80.
On Adobe Stock I've had 22 sales for $14.62.
Definitely not a moneymaker but it's more than I would have gotten by not licensing them for stock photo sales/ prices. The image I sold 5 times on 500px is a photo of the inside of a cow stomach taken while on vacation in Mexico. I thought it was a throwaway photo but it's been my best-selling photo. I have no idea why.
I definitely need to start doing something with my back catalog of photos. On 500px I've uploaded 554 photos for licensing but only 53 of them were accepted for licensing.
I definitely don't take traditional stock photos that are going to generate lots of sales. But whatever I get it's more than they will make sitting on my hard drives where nobody sees them.
For videos, I see where Adobe Stock also has videos but I've not uploaded to them yet.
Does anyone have any recommendations on selling video clips?
Anyone selling on FilmSupply? or other major sites like that?
should I create a clip pack and try to sell it on my own?
