So delighted to be back at the Literacy Volunteers of Bangor Literacy Tea! This years book is "my garden" by Kevin Henkes about the imagination of a little girl who helps her mom garden. If you could grow anything, real or imaginary, in your garden, what would it be?

Many of you know that we lost our sweet Buddy this past fall. We started looking at bringing home another pup to fill the dog-shaped hole in our lives and the vacancy is up. Our new tenant and BFF Photography's new spokes-dog is here!

Oliver is an almost 8 month old lab mix (we think he has some shepherd in him) with a kind soul and even more soulful eyes. And in addition to being crate trained and house broken, he's a camera hound. While still not 100% sure WHY he's being asked to model, he obliged for a mini shoot today to see how he handled the camera.

Patience as we get acquainted and know that you'll be learning lots more about working with puppies and photography as the year goes on!

I got to experience a new type of horse sport yesterday in Bangor — just for fun. Skijor Maine had their first of three events in Bangor and I had to head over to see. They have their own amazing professional photographer — aParadis Photography — so I'm not going to post many of my photos (taken for fun). Instead, go give her page a like and follow. You know the adage "the cobbler kids have no shoes"? That was our living room wall for nearly a decade. Well no longer. We just added some beautiful float wraps if my nature photography for a pop of color and truly meaningful set of images.
