As we enter 2026, I'm writing something I never thought I would write... I'm still offering photography and design services, but they'll be under my pet division. Bell Imaging & Design will be moving under the helm of Bell's Furry Friends Photography.

Over the past 21 years my business has grown up from offering a wide variety of services to now being focused primarily on pets and their people, commercial work (including business portraits) and high school seniors. I'm taking the winter to work on a new website and offerings.

If you are one of my people clients, continue to reach out. I can also refer you to my amazing network of photographers for specific needs I may not be able to accomodate.

My clients are amazing and I'm so looking forward to focusing even more on where the years will take me — and you!

I LOVE learning and travel. When I won a spot at the Photo Creators conference 3 years ago at the raffle, I never realized the importance this would have in my life. I look forward to this conference every year. I look forward to going to Tucson, AZ. I look forward to going to the Tanque Verde Ranch ranch and to seeing my photo peeps. And I'm so glad to have found my home awat from home.

Photo creators is more than just a conference. It's a family.

Thank you Roberto. Thank you for bringing this safe place to photographers like me. And if you're looking for a conference with awesome presenters and amazing people, this is the conference for you.

Today is our open business day at my BNI chapter. I'm back from a week away and refreshed to join my chapter. I'm grateful for my sub from last week Ruth Doherty from Crystal Visions Massage Therapy and excited to meet three new visitors!

Today we're giving testimonials and THAT is the power of BNI. It's not just a place where you go to DO business, it's a place to CREATE TRUST. We do business with people we know, like and trust. Not just because we're in a group together.

This is cowboy Joe and his horse Butterball. Joe is a fixture at the Tanque Verde Ranch where I just completed a week of learning and soaking up the Tucson sun. He took us on a tour of the back side of where they prep the horses for trail rides and excursions. All of the leather you see here is hand crafted by Joe. When they talk about quintessential cowboys, they're talking about Joe. Please enjoy my mini-photoessay (it's been a while since I've done one of these).

Delighted to see the amazing work by my fellow photographers in Maine in our annual Image competition for Maine Professional Photographers Association. I annually choose work from my clients and my own personal work to enter and so far, doing OK (one merit so far!). Happy new year! As we enter into the middle of January Bell Imaging & Design has a lot to celebrate. Most notably, we're celebrating 20 years in business this year... 20! It's a remarkable milestone that I'm thrilled to celebrate with the help of all of you.

If you're new here, my name is Deb Bell and I'm a photographer and graphic designer based in Hermon, Maine. I offer wedding/event, portrait and design services to people and businesses in Maine (and sometimes beyond) to help them embrace their inner amazingness. My SPECIALTY is pet photography through my pet brand Bell's Furry Friends Photography (give me a follow if you love animals, including horses).

I'm a lifelong Mainer, I love travel and horror movies/crime and drama, horseback riding as well as spending time by the ocean. My husband and I recently became beekeepers and rekindled our love of gardening on our homestead in Hermon and are honing that interest with our apiary Sunnybrook Honey (follow us on Facebook and Instagram to get lots of sweet tips on bees and honey and more).
