The third time was definitely the charm for Brileigh! ✨
After rescheduling her senior session TWICE because of rain and storms, we finally got the beautiful day we had been waiting for — and goodness, did it deliver!
From the gardens to the beach, Brileigh absolutely SHINED. The gorgeous light, the cutest outfits, those SENIOR jeans, and ending in that dreamy white dress by the water… worth every single reschedule.
Sometimes Mother Nature makes us work for it, but Brileigh’s senior session was SO worth the wait!

A few years ago, I photographed Paige’s sister for her senior pictures right here on the Outer Banks… and this time, it was Paige’s turn.

There’s just something extra special about a family coming back and trusting me with another one of their girls. Paige absolutely ROCKED her Nags Head senior session, and that OBX sky definitely showed off for us!

After the rain cut our first night short, we finally got to finish Waverly’s senior session—and apparently the storm clouds wanted to come back too!

Boats, docks, marsh views, her sweet pup + those gorgeous stormy skies made round two SO good. I swear these storm skies have been showing OFF for my seniors this year! ✨

Three years ago, I met this sweet Furfari family for their daughter’s senior session… and now our little August tradition is one of my favorites.

Every year, I get 30 minutes to catch up, laugh, talk football and update their family photos—and I LOVE that they always sneak a little Pittsburgh sports pride into the session! 🖤💛 Last year, Pittsburgh… this year, we wrapped it up with the Penguins! 🐧

Same family. Same August tradition. New memories every year. And I absolutely love it. 💕

I will NEVER get tired of a dramatic sky for a senior session.

Aubriey’s session gave us the most incredible stormy backdrop, and I am absolutely LOVING what those skies brought to her senior portraits! There is just something about those big, moody clouds against the beach that makes every image POP.

And of course we had to include her sweet furbaby for a few because seriously… how cute are they together?!

Linden’s session gave us the most gorgeous moody skies while the storms literally moved all around us—and I was loving every second of it!
Linden is from Colorado but has been coming to the Outer Banks since she was little, which made it even more special to capture her senior pictures here.
