When was the first time you saw a bride?

Disney did a great job illustrating the magic surrounding such a special woman on a wedding day. But nothing could prepare you for a surprise on your field trip.

Adriana was exactly that - poised and completely in the moment, throughout her entire wedding day. Both her and Bradford almost floated throughout the day. Eyes locked on each other. I could read just how much they meant to each other.

It’s inspiring to see such focus and intention, however natural it may come. Marriage is a journey not with what you have, but with who you have to share it with.

And I’ve never met a groom that whipped out a Flying V on his wedding night, and ripped on the guitar harder than I ever could.

Natalie and Lars’ wedding is the perfect reminder that we are less than 1 month away from Spring! Their love truly was in bloom 🌺

From a tearful beachside first look, to an intimate garden wedding with your closest family and friends. Japanese Maple, flowers, succulents and cacti all around as decor, all the way through to a string-lit reception. I couldn’t help but notice all the small things amidst great company.

I could see why this beautiful rock-loving couple traveled all the way from Nashville, to have their wedding on the California coast. This is one of my favorite weddings and couples working with !

One of my favorite couples, Alex & Will, and their incredible wedding in Alabama. I journeyed with them from NYC for their engagement, to their family’s gorgeous 500 acre estate for their rehearsal dinner, to Montgomery for their wedding day.

Take me back to the South, where the cicadas sang through the night, where Will sat with his grandma, in the same pews as he did as a young boy. And where the jazz Second Line parade walk reverberated through downtown Montgomery.

So grateful to witness and document lasting moments near and far. 💙

When the owner of The Wedding Plan and Company reached out to me to photograph her niece’s wedding, I immediately knew I couldn’t miss it. I knew it would be a wedding on the sand in New Jersey, but what I didn’t know was how intentional and intimate Brennan and Kyle’s wedding day was going to be. Everyone who truly loved them were there - even her sister (initially could not attend), who flew in from Israel and surprised her.

Happiness was tangible this day. The ocean breeze and the cheers, the sand between the toes, the ice cream sandwich shared with your deeply-missed sister and the candles that burned until the late hours of the night.

Some weddings leave such a lasting impression on me. This is one of them. Thank you Brennan, Kyle, Jacquelyn and Robert. .habermann

It’s not often that a bride gets to wear her mother’s wedding gown. Diana was absolutely timeless for her welcome party, and Chandler was the perfect compliment to enjoy the night ahead, welcoming friends near and far. This will be a 2-3 part series, as there’s just so many beautiful moments from their wedding weekend!

Gabrielle + Mike had an unforgettable wedding last May. It rained heavily during their wedding day, but they remained in the moment leading with such a great intention to soak up every moment. I couldn’t help but notice how bright they shined despite the crazy weather, and I would be remiss if we did not revisit shooting their portraits on a separate, sunshine-filled day that’s as bright as their love. I truly, truly adore this couple and had so much fun with their “day after” session!
