“Dove” is the smaller (18”x24”) companion piece to the larger “Cedar Grove” (36”x36”) painting I completed last year for a client. She wanted to display her little chapel for the month of February. When working with her to decide which element to pull forward she was drawn to the idea of the Dove with olive branch. I love how we can put together meaning for her in these art pieces that she will enjoy over the years! Love you girl you know who you are. This piece might give you away to your close friends…🩷🧡💛🤍

2026 is starting off with companion pieces for last year’s giant pieces. My client wanted the painting to be surrounded by seasonal decor with one element pulled out of the painting for a smaller buddy piece. Such a cute idea! These mittens will pair with the “Snowman in Progress” painting. Love it so much!!! ❤️

2025 was a great year for painting! Sometimes it just takes one client. I was given the artistic freedom to paint a piece for each month for this sweet gal. She said “Brittni if you love it I will love it”. And she kept reminding me. What a challenging opportunity this has been… my kids stayed curious as to what I was doing and that helped me along more than they know. Especially my oldest one always asked me what was cookin and he didn’t mean cookies. And my middle just always tells me I am slay right when I need it. And my youngest ordered her own pet pieces which if you know her observation skills this was an even scarier job. I did take my criticism well. And the hubs grinds away so I can make a run at this passion of mine. I just love this studio life and appreciate all the encouragement from every direction this year. Thanks to all of you that follow along and leave comments and share my work. That helps this crazy platform put my work in front of more eyes. Cheers to a new year! Chase what you love! ❤️
