No matter how many times you have to readjust your vision don’t lose the faith in following your own intuition, it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone but you. Follow the pull, let it guide you. Of course let your mind process what you’re doing so your impulse won’t tank you but still let your passion and intuition be the guide. You have vision on the inside not just the outside.

Forming a relationship with my shadow self, feeling, healing, reparenting, and protecting the little person that wasn’t allowed to be a child inside of me. She didn’t receive enough guidance and as I raise my own little people, I struggle to show up for them in ways I didn’t receive. Making peace with the shadow so I can honor the ways she had to survive without judgement, softening in the areas where she could not be soft, and weeping together so that we both can move forward as one.

I tell her “I’m proud of you for going to that appointment today, I know it was scary but you were brave.”

“You shouldn’t have done that, you knew better but did it anyway, but it’s okay sometimes we just make mistakes and you can do better next time.”

“I love you, you’re beautiful, smart, and kind.”

Parenting myself is helping me become a better parent, it’s hard, I mess up a lot, but I keep trying and that counts for something.

About a month & a half ago I had cancer removed from my rib cage, my melanoma was found in stage one luckily. Today I had two more potential cancer spots removed to send to the lab which means every 3 months I have to have a full body exam done. A lot of people think melanoma is no big deal but it only takes six weeks to spread to your lymph nodes then to your organs & if you’re very unlucky to your bones which is the most painful cancer to have.
Point being, go to your dermatologist people & schedule a body exam, wear your sunscreen.
