Meet the Photographer
While this page is new, my photography experiance spans over 25 years. I first picked up a SLR for a photography class my Junior year of high school. I was a terrible photographer then, but I loved it. Years later I went on to obtain my associates degree in photography technology in 2004. I started out as an assistant to a professional photographer in town, worked as a photographer at Glamor Shots when I was 18 (yes, I’m serious! While I didn’t learn any amazing photography skills there, I did learn PEOPLE). I’ve photographed weddings, families, babies, animals, kids, in studio and on location. After allll these years I did finally find my niche in the photography business through birth photography. As a labor doula it just seemed natural to add birth photography to my list of services and it’s where if found my PASSION. While I primarily do birth photography, I also love a good family portrait, headshot, newborn session, engagement photo, mommy and me, product shot, beach session and the list goes on. If you are looking for a photographer, please reach out and we can chat about what you have in mind. I don’t know what my style is exactly. Some may call it photojournalistic or lifestyle. I don’t carry lots of equipment or props. I just like to capture life.
