6 WAYS TO RESPECT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

1. UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS - Matutong maghintay. Baka busy. This is just love for photography and LOVE DOES NOT PAY THE BILLS.

2. DON'T ASK FOR MORE THAN WERE DELIVERED/POSTED - Baka blurred o di ka talaga nahagip.

3. DO NOT EVER CROP OUT A WATERMARK - You are taking away our credit.

4. DO NOT EDIT THE PHOTO YOU RECEIVE - By applying some filter, you have destroyed the photographers finished piece. It is insulting to change a photographers work.

5. GIVE THEM PROPER CREDIT ON SOCIAL MEDIA - You didnt take the photo yourself. Tag the person that did. It's really that simple. May page kami. It only takes a second to tag us.

6. KNOW THAT THE CAMERA DOESN'T MAKE THE IMAGE - Wala sa pana yan. Nasa indian.

GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER
________________________________

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
-2 Corinthians 9:7

When we talk about giving, what's the first thing that comes into your mind?

Ako, siguro.. when I hear the word 'giving', I think of the word 'letting go.'

Most of you know that I grew up in a Christian Family, and I basically went to Church all my life. At napansin ko, giving is one of the hardest teaching that the Church would swallow.

Pag pinag-uusapan na ang pagbibigay, (offering, tithes, giving back to the community, giving back to others) ~ biglang parang nagiging ninja yung mga tao. Ang gagaling umiwas sa preaching. Haha.

And as I grow up and I'm now enrolled in Adulting 101, I understand why..

Haha. Huhu.

God is a giver. Anlinaw naman nyan sa John 3:16 pa lamang.

God is working in us to conform our character and will to be like his own. He finds delight in generously blessing us.

Totoo na gustong-gusto kang pagpalain ni Lord.

Sabi nga sa Romans 8:32, "He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”

God loves to give and bless you. Now he asks us to do the same.

And giving is not some random task given us to support our churches and ministries; no, giving is part of our character transformation to become more like Christ.

Actually, para sakin, it may be one of the truest ways we have placed our allegiance, dependence, and priorities in the gracious work of God.

May it be Tithes and Offerings, or maybe giving some bread to the Children on the street ~ GIVE. Give with a cheerful heart.

So today, may we all be reminded that we can never outgive the Lord, and His grace is sufficient for us. His power is made PERFECT in our weaknesses. :)

KAPE PA?
___________

I read the news today that Filipinos still love to drink hot coffee amid the blazing summer heat.

And I don't blame them.

Nakakatuwang isipin that God allows us to still find enjoyment (drinking coffee) in the midst of our discomfort (init ng panahon).

I recently got sick due to the summer heat, and during my agony, (naks. haha.), napapatanong na talaga ako kung bakit inallow pa ni Lord ang Summer. Ayoko kase talaga sa mainit na panahon. But I know in my heart that God made all seasons for a reason.

Sabi nga sa Ecclesiastes, there is a time for everything.
And it's comforting to know that God understands my discomfort sa Season na ito. Alam Niya na hindi ako fan ng mainit na panahon, kaya praise God that He allowed humans to invent air-conditioning, cold waters, refrigerators, payong, sunscreen, beach, pools and etc, para maka-survive ako/tayo sa init ng panahon. At ma-enjoy ko naman ang summer season.

---

May it be season of waiting, season of love, season of healing, etc.
We may experience discomfort, a lot.
But take heart, God understands you and your feelings.
And He promised that He is with you on each Season.

It's just comforting to know that God will make a way for us to enjoy the Season, whether Summer + coffee pa yan.. or Season of waiting + kdramas pa yan. Hehe.

Remind your heart that God made all seasons for a reason. :)

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." - Ecclesiastes 3:1

Summer Season na.
Stay Hydrated, Humans!
Wag puro kape, magtubig din. Hehe.
