This bull was patrolling the large field in front of the Oconaluftee Mountain Farm Museum, chasing cow elk and running all the spikes and young bulls off with a hint of autumn color in the background 🍁

This mother bear and her two cubs were out searching for acorns in the rain from Isaias this past weekend 🌧️

A Cape May Warbler in fall plumage 🍁🍂

Stopped in for a short walk around Lake Junaluska during a trip to the Smokies this past weekend and the birds were cooperating 📸

Fun fact: Cape May Warblers have tongues similar to hummingbirds that allow them to drink nectar and sip sap during the winter months
