I have been practicing photography for 16 years now, with knowledge in professional photofinishing. After having my oldest daughter, I "fell" into photography and fell hard...hard in love! This was back in the old days, ya know when we still shot film?! I would take my daughter in her baby carrier and sit at Barnes and Noble while she slept and read photography books, as at the time I could not af
ford to buy them, and all of them intrigued me. I was in school at the time for IT/computer programming. After taking a few shots of my daughter at home with my pentax 35mm, I soon discovered my inner passion. When the photos were printed, others noticed, and I soon changed my studies to photography. Soon after purchasing my very first 35mm SLR N65 I began shooting, and pretty much couldn't stop. My first clients were friends and family, and women I worked out with at the gym. In a few short months "word of mouth" had me in a whirlwind of portraiture of all sorts, weddings, bridals, pets...basically anything I could direct in my favor. Due to my natural affinity and patience with infants and toddlers; My forte' for many years was just mainly those subjects. Soon after, I purchased my next SLR, N-80 and begun shooting weddings..lots of them. I was able to travel to amazing venues, and meet some even more amazing friends, watch the mother of the bride cry when they received their album. (now that was Inspiring). Third camera purchase was my Maymia 645 AFD (medium format), Talk about quality. I still love to shoot with that beast! Then I got down to the grit of things and taught myself custom matting and framing (and yes, I have many battle scars for proof ha!). Soon thereafter, I started progressing as a true Artist and enjoyed my passion for many years, as well as the capacity to learn in this ever changing industry.. After major life changes I laid down my cameras for years. After long lectures from supporters and loved ones, I took the plunge and transitioned into digital! Welcome, to the not so real world right?! Went on to make my fourth purchase which was a D200 DSLR, an IMAC, a MacBook Pro, and whalla, I was back on the scene. but knew I wanted to do something a little different. This time, it was my middle child, my son whom inspired me to start taking more sports photography and action shots. I was a speed roller skater growing up, but always hung around the other "skirts". Upon observing these tricks, and catching air..not to mention the fact these kids are taking architecture..making it there art canvas and creating something so epic I was mesmerized. Not to mention what these kids would do for me, just so I could get a shot, Speed, catching air, eating pavement, breaking bones..getting back up to do it again because they simply had respect but also a certain fear of this sport. that was it! I have since been hooked. My ultimate goal is to go into shorebreak photography. Or what I like to say rather is "when passion overcomes fear". The bottom line though, is that I enjoy all photography, all art...its all beautiful in its' own right and absolutely in the eye of the beholder. I love meeting with clients and going on their concepts for anything, in hopes of executing their ideas into a visual memory that last a lifetime!!! LOVE and PEACE----Natalie R. Hanna

You would be surprised at the effect of taking our ideas and concepts combined, and creating a final custom product can take you into a whole other realm of life, just by starring at what you had a hand in creating. The possibilities are endless. You can always have that digital file, but after a long hard day, or even a pleasant morning, getting lost in the memory and emotion that a single image can endure is absolutely priceless, and in this life of all uncertainties, one thing remains. We can never return to yesterday and try to capture that exact same moment in time. That's the beauty in taking control and capturing that memory today, as we will have forever to cherish that one moment in time, that can always "take us back" and take us to our own personal heaven on earth.
