GOAL MET !!! Hats off to member Pat Sebaugh who set a goal to take at least one photo per week during 2025 and she achieved that goal! Does that inspire any of you to do the same in 2026? It would be a great way to exercise one's photographic eye! Thanks, Pat, for sharing those photos!

Here's the full list of winners from this year's photo competition, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place winners as well as Honorable Mentions (HM). The number of HMs awarded in each category was based on the number of entries within each respective category. You can go to our web page (jeffcophoto.com) to see thumbnail size photos of each entry per category.
Thank you to all who participated and to our four talented judges who came from as far as Columbia, Mo, to judge our photos (Michael Bauermeister, Krista-Rose Frohling, Don McKenna, and Jackie Rhodes).

The education topic for this month's meeting is what judges look at during photo competitions. We will be sharing notes we took as our annual competition was being judged. We were lucky to have four fantastic judges come to do the blind judging. We took notes as they were discussing the photos among themselves. We will be sharing this feedback so you can learn what catches their eyes, what may take points off, and what they felt may have improved some photos.
Don't forget your homework (based off of last month's education topic low-key photography).

6:30 pm at High Ridge Elks (lower level), 2808 Old Hunning Rd., High Ridge, Mo
