Unfortunately our little guy needs surgery. We have done everything we can to avoid it but he continues to flare and lose weight. For those that don't know Duckie has stomatitis (in a nutshell his body attacks his mouth). He gets antibiotics and anti-inflammatories but he is still often in pain. The solution is partial or total extraction of his teeth. It's the best option to give him a better quality of life. Please donate or share. Thank you.

I love this shot. It's so cool how the water mixed and also reflected. This is a underwater shot looking at Sunshine Ledge Spring located in the Santa Fe River. Sunshine Ledge is so interesting to me because it has spring water pushing out underneath the ledge wall. This pic shows the spring water reflecting as green pushing up and over the ledge while the tanin red colored river water flows toward it and reflects as red on the surface. The trees are peeking through at the very top of the picture.

Beautiful mermaid or floating potato? You decide. I love these amazing & docile creatures. I feel so a peace when I am lucky enough to see one in the river or springs. Please be kind when boating or enjoying nature to help protect these sweet sea cows. Have a wonderful weekend & go enjoy some good nature.

I had foot surgery on Feb 4 so have not been able to get out to nature much. Cast came off yesterday! Woohoo. Couple weeks of PT and we will be back out there shooting. :)
