Can you imagine reaching through time, to your child selves, & speaking to them from your adult self?
That’s what this concert & have opened up to me..
Mindy was there in song for me as a youth, deep in religion; and has been here, current, in honest poetry for me as an adult, deep in accepting and grieving past selves. Our journeys collide in many ways, & being able to photograph her last night & see her in the light I do as an artist, while hearing her lyrics pierce my heart live…that was magic.
