The nerves are gone, the ceremony is over, and for just a little while, it feels like the whole world gets quiet.

It’s just the two of you, officially married, soaking in the joy of what just happened. The little looks, the laughter, the way you hold each other a little differently now… those are some of my favorite moments to capture.

One of my favorite wedding day moments: the first touch. 🤍

There’s something so special about being this close to each other, holding hands, hearing each other’s voices… but still saving that first look for the aisle.

The nerves, the excitement, the anticipation. You can feel it all in these few quiet minutes before everything begins.

And I absolutely love getting to capture moments like this. The ones that aren’t just beautiful photos, but memories that take you right back to how your wedding day felt. ✨

Because most people don’t show up to a session knowing exactly what to do in front of the camera… and they shouldn’t have to.

Here’s what I tell my clients:

1. You can’t mess this up.
Seriously. There’s no “wrong” way to do this. My job is to take that pressure off of you.
2. I’m going to guide you the entire time.
Where to stand, what to do with your hands, where to look, when to move… I’ve got you.
3. You do NOT need to know how to pose.
Actually, I’d rather you didn’t. 😂 I’m not looking for professional models. I want real people, real connection, and photos that actually feel like you.

The goal isn’t to make you perform for the camera.

It’s to make you comfortable enough that you forget the camera is even there. 🤍

That’s when the magic happens.

So if your biggest fear is, “But we’re so awkward in pictures…” trust me, you’re exactly the kind of couple I love photographing.

Save this for your next session or send it to someone who says they’re “not photogenic.” 🤍

Apparently saying “I shoot people for a living” requires a little explanation 😂📸

No kidnapping.
No crime scene.
Just me, my camera, and a slightly concerning amount of excitement over good light.

I photograph weddings, couples, families, and all those little moments you wish you could freeze forever 🤍

So yes… technically I capture people and shoot them.

Photography vocabulary is wild when you think about it 😂
