I've spent the last 3 years photographing this guy from the edge of the wrestling mat, so getting to be the one to take his senior pictures felt pretty special.

He absolutely knocked it out of the park with his location picks, and his brother came up with some really fun ideas that made the session even better. We laughed a lot, explored some incredible spots, and ended up with such a great evening.

Senior season is the best. ❤️

Oh, little Lawson Kathryn, you have our whole entire family completely smitten. Your sweet little personality is already shining through, and I just love that perfectly pouty lip, your crooked little smile, and the way you snuggle right in, sharing your gift of love and hope with anyone lucky enough to hold you.

Yep... you read that right. Not one, but two beautiful babies joined our family in just one week. Both are named after their Nana, my mom, and I have no doubt she is beaming with pride while keeping a loving watch over her sweet girls.

There is just something about a baby that instantly fills every corner of your heart with happiness. For our family, in the wake of loss, these tiny little miracles have brought renewed hope, wonder, love, and togetherness. They are beautiful reminders that life has a way of wrapping us in joy again, and ours came in the tiniest little packages.

Family doesn't always mean blood. Sometimes it's the people who choose you, and the people you choose right back. We are so incredibly lucky to have people like this family in our lives. Experiencing all of our lives intertwining has been such a blessing.

One of the best weekends of the year is finally here - Dance Recital Weekend!!!

If you know me even a tiny bit, you know I have a major soft spot for fluffy animals and babies. My workday started with the most content brand-new little fella, ended with three of the best-behaved and affectionate dogs, and the in-between was filled with both familiar and new faces in front of my camera who brought a never-ending supply of giggles, smiles, and just plain old fun. I couldn't help but drive home with a smile as I mentally recapped the day, feeling so much gratitude.

I wish I could share entire galleries with all of you because a single sneak peek rarely captures the emotion, personality, and connections that unfold throughout a session.

Someday I'm going to video document one of these days from my point of view because some of my favorite moments are the ones spent capturing other people's happy. Yesterday was one of those days.

I can't wait to share some of those moments with you this week. ❤️ More to come.
