**Shhh… can I tell you a secret?
I took a break from photography.
Yep. I said it.** 😂
And honestly? I needed it.

There was a time when I was so wrapped up in creating, photographing, posting, planning, answering messages, keeping everyone else moving forward…
…that somewhere along the way, I stopped checking in with myself.
My relationship with photography had gotten complicated. 😂
Some days I loved it.
Some days I questioned everything I knew.
And some days I wondered if I was even supposed to keep going.
So I had a little **DTR.**
(Define. The. Relationship.)
And I decided we needed a reset.
I needed to step back and build something bigger than just a photography business.
I wanted a better business.
A home that felt like home.
A life that didn't constantly feel like I was running behind.
And, honestly?
I needed to work on becoming a better me.

Because I don't want to photograph women while secretly forgetting to believe in myself. I don't want to create beautiful images about confidence if I'm not giving myself permission to have some, too.
So I took the break.
I learned.
I rebuilt.
I created.
I made mistakes.
I changed my priorities.
I got really honest with myself.

And now?
I'm back. But I'm not coming back the same.
I'm coming back with a photography experience that feels more intentional, more personal, more fun—and WAY more focused on what I actually love:
*Women. Confidence. Connection. And reminding you that you don't have to wait until you feel “good enough” to be photographed.

Because babe…
You don't need a new body.
You don't need a younger face.
You don't need to have your life perfectly figured out.
You just need someone to remind you that you are still in there.❤️‍🔥

And that's exactly the kind of photographer I want to be.

I got a call from the woman you’re becoming.

She wanted me to tell you that she’s tired of waiting for you to feel “ready.”
She said you can keep picking yourself apart.
You can keep waiting until you lose the weight.
Until your skin clears up.
Until you feel younger.
Until you have more confidence.
Until you finally look in the mirror and decide you’re “enough.”

Or… you can take a deep breath and start believing her.

Because that woman you keep thinking you need to become?
She's already in there.
She’s confident.
She’s playful.
She’s sexy.
She’s powerful.
She takes up space.
She knows she deserves to be photographed exactly as she is.

Nobody warned us that one day we'd become invisible.
Not because we're unattractive.
Not because we're old.

Because society becomes obsessed with the "anti-aging" agenda .... expecting mature women to quietly fade into the background.

Absolutely not.

I've met women in their 60s who have more magnetism, confidence, elegance, and presence than most people half their age.

The truth?

Aging isn't stealing your beauty.
It's revealing who you really are.

Your potential deserves better than procrastination and Netflix. One of my favorite moments as a photographer is watching a woman stand in front of my camera and realize she is so much more than her insecurities.
✅✅✅Friend, you don't need to lose 10 pounds, wait for the right season, or earn the right to celebrate yourself. You are already a masterpiece in progress.

Maybe your mental health doesn't need another night scrolling.
