Time is such a strange thing in this business. I could have sworn I just did Charlotte’s newborn photos but then she brings me in her little brother and I’m reminded just how fast it all goes. I’m reminded each time my phone shows me memories that I thought weren’t that long ago and I see how much my own children have grown, sometimes without me even realizing. It’s both beautiful and heartbreaking.

They won’t care about how you look, they’ll notice your smile, the familiarity of your hands and remember the softness of you. One day these photos will be everything. Make sure you are in them.
