Golden hour on the beach + the most radiant mama-to-be + that soft ocean breeze… this Big Island maternity session felt so calm and powerful all at once.

She wore the most beautiful, flowing gown that caught the light perfectly, and against her rich, glowing skin tone the Hawaii sunset looked unreal. I’m always so intentional about how we photograph and edit every session — from lighting to color tones to the final gallery — so your skin looks natural, dimensional, and true to you. No washed out tones. No awkward color shifts. Just warm, flattering light that celebrates exactly how you look.

That’s something we take seriously. Every family, every couple, every mama deserves to feel fully seen and beautifully represented in their photos. It’s one of my favorite parts of this job.

Life lately, from the lens of a tired but happy mama ✨

I can’t believe Corey is already 3 months old! He’s officially out of that curled-up newborn stage (cue all the feels) and suddenly… we’re teething?! Already?! My arms are sore from all the extra snuggles and bouncing, but I’m soaking it in while I can.

Meanwhile, Kyle is wrapping up 6th grade (HOW?!) and Leena is finishing 4th, and we are all counting down the final week of school like it's Christmas morning. Summer break, we see you!

My sweet mama is visiting (aka the best kind of reinforcements), and she’s whisking the big kids away for a little summer island hop to Oʻahu. They’re going to have so much fun—and I might even sneak in a nap or two while they’re gone. Win-win!

Okay, these two redheaded sisters stole our hearts! We’re still smiling thinking about their matching sandy curls, contagious laughter, and how they turned the beach into their own personal playground.

From chasing waves to dancing in the sunset light, they were a total dream to photograph. The sweetest part? Capturing those in-between moments—sisters holding hands, quick kisses from mom and dad, and that pure joy only little ones can bring.
