a little reminder because i feel like this needs to be said.
if you message me about booking a session and we actually get everything fully planned out, then you ghost me, you will be blocked.
when i’m going back and forth with you trying to find the perfect date, time, location, outfits, or whatever else we need to plan, that takes time. especially when i am rearranging my personal life, family plans, or schedule to get you in at a certain time that works for you. i am more than happy to work with you and be flexible, but when you completely disappear after i have gone out of my way to make it work, it is RUDE.
i have a family, a life, and other clients to take care of too. my time matters just as much as yours does.
if you book a session and don’t show up, you will also be blocked. if i have to get myself and my equipment ready, drive to wherever we agreed to meet, rearrange my personal plans, and then you simply don’t show up, that is extremely disrespectful. you are not only wasting my time, you are taking a spot away from someone else who could have booked and genuinely appreciated that session.
if something comes up, TELL ME. if you need to reschedule, TELL ME. if you change your mind, TELL ME. if you decide i’m not the right photographer for you, TELL ME.
i promise i am not going to be offended. i completely understand that i may not be the right fit for everyone, and that is okay! i can even recommend other photographers who may be a better fit for what you’re looking for.
what i will not continue doing is spending my time planning sessions, rearranging my personal life, turning away other potential bookings, and driving to locations for people who decide it’s okay to disappear or not show up.
i love what i do and i love getting to work with all of you, but please remember i am a real person. i have a family, responsibilities, and a life outside of photography.
please respect my time the same way i respect yours.
