I chose the clawfoot tub as a playful nod to ducks, water, and bath time—but the most meaningful detail is the quilt, handmade by his mama!

As I look back on this year, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. To every family who trusted me to capture your most precious memories — thank you. Being your photographer is truly an honor.

And to all the photographers who chose Down South Studios as the place to serve your clients — thank you for believing in my space and helping it come alive with creativity, joy, and beautiful moments.

This was my first full year with the studio open, and watching it grow into a warm, cozy place where memories are made — both through my own sessions and through the incredible photographers who rent the studio — has been one of the biggest blessings of my life.

I’m deeply thankful for every person who has walked through those doors. You’ve played a part in building something I cherish with my whole heart.

Thank you to every single family who came out for Santa minis — your smiles, your kiddos’ excitement, and the joy you brought into the studio truly made the day magical. It’s an honor to be part of your holiday traditions year after year.

To all of the incredible vendors who set up and created such a special private market and shopping experience — thank you for bringing your talent, creativity, and beautiful small businesses to our space. You helped make the day feel festive, fun, and full of community.

And to my amazing team… I truly couldn’t have done this without you. From setup to breakdown and every little moment in between, you showed up, stepped in, and helped everything run so smoothly. Your support means more to me than words can say.
