I met Darian about halfway through my assignment in Hobbs, NM. It was a chance meeting and we instantly bonded over our love of weird art, movement, and music. She was an inspiration while I was there. Hobbs had very little going for it…it’s a dusty, loud, dirty town. But Darian made it more than bearable — she made it fun.
