I’ve covered a lot of different sports over the years, but the energy at Empire Sumo Cup 2026 was on another level. Every match had intensity, strategy, and crowd reactions that made the entire event exciting from start to finish. From explosive clashes at the edge of the ring to the respect shown between competitors after every bout.
These are some of my favorite moments captured throughout the event using the X-T50 paired with the 23mm lens. Tried to focus on the emotion, movement, and atmosphere that made this tournament special.
Shoutout to everyone who competed, supported, and helped bring the event to life. Definitely one of the most unique sporting events I’ve had the chance to cover.
