7/21/26 - Sunset and 3 Lives Saved at Holland State Park - 3 girls decided to test the red flag conditions, were pulled out by the ripp tide and found themselves in serious danger in the deep and on the rocks. 2 Boys executed a rescue and pulled the 3 girls from the danger. These pics/videos were taken after the rescue when the conditions calmed down a little. First, special recognition to the heroic boys who saved the girls, followed by DNR, police, fire, and every volunteer 1st responder who came to their aid. There was an army of people supporting the effort. Although terrifying, it was also an evening to give thanks that 3 girls got to go home safe tonight because of 2 courageous boys and an army of 1st responders. Thank God! Well done everyone!!
