Places That Feel Like Memories - A quiet arcade hidden inside the Altoona Logan Valley Mall

The lights are still on. The prizes are still waiting. The ticket counters are still full.

But somehow it feels like a memory more than a place.

These photographs are part of an ongoing photography series I'm working on that explores nostalgia, memory, and the spaces that shaped our childhoods.

My favorite part of these images are the "never-ending" overhead florescent lights.

Places That Feel Like Memories | Logan Valley Mall - 1st Floor

I’ve started a new photography series called “Places That Feel Like Memories” —a series focused on nostalgia, memory, and the local spaces that seem frozen in time.

These photos were taken on the first floor of the Logan Valley Mall in Altoona, PA.

I edited them with warm tones inspired by Kodak Gold 200 film to lean into that nostalgic feeling that drew me to these spaces in the first place.

You’ll be seeing more from this series soon, including a second collection from the mall and a colorful arcade.

Mixed in a few candids, genuine laughs, and even a spontaneous guest appearance from a stranger who spotted us shooting and asked to jump in for a few photos - because the vibe was that good. 😂
