Oh wow! What an honor to be nominated for Hometown Favorites!

Apparently y'all like me so much that I'm listed twice in the Photographer category, once as Susan L. Youshaw, SLY Photography and again as SLY Photography in Hollidaysburg.

I have no clue how that happened and while I definitely appreciate the extra love, I did let the Altoona Mirror know in case they'd like to combine them.

In all seriousness, thank you. Your support over the years has meant more than you know, especially these past two years. Every kind word, recommendation, and booking has helped me keep going. I'm so blessed to be able to do what I love every day!

This mix 🎶 by LydGiggs has been living in my head rent free since I first heard it, so I had to find a way to use it. What better way than to show a few highlights from my Class of 2026 Senior Model Team.

We really did so much this year and still have a few more shoots to squeeze in before their senior year comes to an end.

🌸Blossoms in the Burg at SLY Photography Quick FAQ 🌸

📸 Do I need to book?
Nope! These are walk-in and first come, first serve.

🌜How much are the moon minis?
They're pay what you can (cash or venmo)

⏳How long are the sessions?
Super quick! Just a handful of photos so we can accommodate as many people as possible.

👶Can my child sit alone?
For younger kiddos, I do ask that a parent of guardian sit with them. The bench is a bit tall and I want everyone to stay safe.

👭How many people can be in a photo?
Up to 2 people can sit on the moon at a time. More than 2 can be in the images, but will be standing.

💌How will I get my photos?
I'll collect emails at the event and send out a gallery in the following days with all the high-resolution images to view and download.

💵How do vendors accept payment?
Each vendor handles their own, but most accept cash, Venmo, and cards.

📍Where are you located?
SLY Photography is located on the corner of Allegheny and Front Streets across from Shan Nicole's.

It’s time for the fourth annual blossoms in the burg, hosted by Hollidaysburg Downtown , and SLY Photography is excited to be a part of it again.

Join us on Saturday May 9 from 12pm-3pm. Take a stroll along Allegheny St. and visit all of the vendors and businesses, and enjoy great music and food.

🌜This year I will be offering “Love you to the Moon” minis. These are walk in mini sessions that are Pay What You Can (cash, check, or Venmo). The set features a vintage-inspired Paper Moon, surrounded by clouds, perfect to sit up to 2 people. If you’re bringing a little one that is 7 or under, I do ask that a parent or guardian sit with them on the moon, for safety.

🍋 Dax’s Lemonade Stand is back with his $1 fresh lemonade, plus new 3-D printed creations life fidgets, figures, and more.

🧶 We are excited to welcome Luvie Crafts, making her first pop-up appearance at the studio. Amber creates the most incredible crochet pieces, that you won’t want to miss!

🍓 Finally, returning to the studio is Nourish with Natalie, featuring many of the items you know and love from Enchanted Realms, now part of her new venture.
