One piece of advice I offer my clients is to let your kiddos include something they love in a shot or two. Each year this momma does just that! It’s so neat to be able to look back through the years and see their little personalities shine.

I had my third shoot of the week tonight and do you want to know something funny? After all these years I still get nervous before a shoot. I suppose it's a combination of unknowns- will the weather hold out, does the location still look as good as it did a month ago, will my clients like the spot I picked out, how will I pose the family...the list goes on. And of course I'm thinking of my clients and their vision for our session. I want it to be everything they're hoping for and more! You'd think after all this time I wouldn't still get butterflies in my stomach but I do!
