Hi! My name is Laina Schlauch… I’m a 20-year-old photographer, farmer’s wife, follower of Jesus, and auntie to three of my favorite little people.

I picked up my camera in 2023 as a way to blend my love for agriculture with my passion for capturing life as it happens. Since then, it’s grown into something I truly love… telling stories through genuine and meaningful images.

As most of you know, I married my middle school sweetheart last fall, and life has been full and busy ever since (dairy farmer life, right?). With so many new changes, it felt like the right time for a fresh start…

So I’m so excited to officially introduce
Velvet-View Photography 🤍

I photograph just about anything… couples, families, seniors, livestock, weddings, and more… because every season of life deserves to be remembered. Whether it’s out in the pasture or on your biggest day, my goal is to create images that feel natural and true to you.

So excited to see what the Lord has in store for this journey, and honored to capture your stories along the way.
