There’s something extra special about photographing families I’ve had the privilege of knowing through so many seasons of life. 🤍

Six small children made for the most beautifully chaotic extended family session at Dahlem Nature Center. We kept things fun with lots of interaction, snuggles, giggles, and play—and honestly, those ended up being some of my favorite images.

Such a fun morning with a beautiful family, and such a sweet reminder of just how quickly the years go by. 🤍

Last year, I had the joy of photographing their wedding at The Vintage Garden Barn, and tonight I got to meet them there again to capture a whole new chapter—their growing family.

There’s something so special about returning to a place that already holds so many beautiful memories and adding new ones. So excited for these two and the little one they’re waiting to meet! 🤍

Saturday’s lakeside wedding was such a sweet one. The morning brought plenty of rain, but by ceremony time we had the perfect mix of sunshine, clouds, and a beautiful breeze.

The Alex's reaction when he saw his bride was priceless, and I loved that they took a few quiet moments after the ceremony to share a meal together before serving their guests. So much love in one beautiful day.

Some weddings are less about the event and more about the people—and this one was exactly that. 🤍 My niece's wedding was filled with so much love and sentiment: a childhood church, her grandpa officiating, family-grown flowers, and desserts made with love. It was simple, meaningful, and absolutely beautiful.
