Sorry I’m late to the party!!! Happy Birthday to !!! 🎉

Thank you for the many conversations over tea and coffee, for challenging my thinking, and for always helping me see things from a different perspective.

This is one of the portraits we created together last month. I’m honored to include your image in the work, and I can’t wait to see it hanging in my thesis exhibition in 2028.

They move different. They carry themselves different. Their styles, their energy, even the way they hold space is not the same—and that’s exactly what makes this work.

What stood out to me wasn’t similarity. It was the tension, the contrast, and the quiet chemistry that exists between them without needing to be explained. You can feel it in the space between their bodies. Two completely different presences creating one visual conversation.

I’m grateful they trusted me enough to step into this with me, and I’m already looking forward to working with them again and continuing to see where this collaboration can go.
