been a hot minute since I posted my face on here.

shoutout to Jeni Jo Photography ✨ for taking the most incredible photos of me and Moji. what a treat to be in front of the camera instead of behind it 📸

even tho Jeni delivered my full gallery within like .2 seconds after our shoot together, I’m just now getting around to posting these almost a month later 😅 (someone pls help me with social media)

as a photographer myself I try to get professional photos done at least once a year, usually with my boyfriend but this year was Mojis turn.

I knew I needed Jeni to come out for this one. I’ve admired her work for as long as I’ve started this instagram account, and it was so special to have another amazing equine photographer capture these photos for me.

when I first had the idea of creating the island experience, I had a particular client in mind. the horse girl. the girl no matter where life takes her, she always finds her way to the horses. it’s in her soul, a part of her identity. I created the island experience for that girl seeking something unique and authentic, something that could connect her with the island and leave her with a memorable life long experience.

a sunrise golden hour beach photoshoot in Australia 🇦🇺🌅 (looks just like Hawaii right?!)

I’ll be honest, when I first reached out to I did not think she would even see my dm. but much to my surprise I got a reply from Rachel almost right away. Of course, this was the highlight of my entire trip to Australia. If I have the opportunity to sneak in a shoot while I’m on vacation, you know I’m going to do everything to make it happen. Photography has connected me with so many incredible people these last few years, and I can’t help but feel this immense gratitude for it.

These photos represent so much to me, it’s hard to put into words. My goal is to authentically capture equestrian stories, and I truly feel that these photos embody that.
