It starts with a bold choice to follow your own path. For this celebration it was a tropical jungle theme.

Use your venue to your advantage. The parlor room drenched in yellow set the scene. Here it contrasts with the pinks and jewel tones to create the feeling of a sun bathed room.

Florals in the same spirit: exotic orchids, garden roses, and gloriosa lilies in pinks, magentas, and pops of orange.

Don’t be afraid of when is it called details that your guests will talk about all night and beyond.

Eolia Mansion sits at the top of my list for couples looking to host an intimate wedding in Connecticut.
Tucked inside Harkness State Park in Waterford, this Gatsby-era estate was once the summer home of philanthropists Edward and Mary Harkness, and remains one of the finest surviving examples of the grand seaside estates that lined the Long Island Sound at the turn of the twentieth century.
The grounds offer many options to wed and celebrate You can exchange vows at the Pergola with the Long Island Sound as your backdrop, then celebrate inside one of the historic rooms.
The park offers options that feel endless: from the vine-covered courtyard, the formal gardens and grand staircase, you be able to create magical memories
Eolia sits on a state park, so dates book early, and has limited opening window.

Some days, the light does exactly what you ask of it. ✨
This editorial shoot at Hill House in Durham gave us everything, blush arches, sunlit gardens, interiors that feel like a love letter to another era, and two people who simply radiated together.
