Jennifer + Carolyn’s wedding day started with a little chaos thanks to the Kona Low storms. 🌧️ Their hotel lost power that morning, and for a while it felt like Mother Nature had other plans. But somehow, the weather cooperated and they were able to have the beautiful ceremony they dreamed of—without a single drop of rain making an appearance.

A huge shoutout to my associate photographer, Shanel, who captured this entire day so beautifully. I took her under my wing back in 2021, and bringing her onto my team has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She’s an incredibly talented photographer, an amazing friend, and someone I trust wholeheartedly with my couples. 🫶🏼

Some journeys to motherhood are longer and harder than others, and Teresa’s has been one filled with strength, hope, and so much love. After a year and a half of IVF treatments, many ups and downs, and a ton of perseverance, she and Chris are expecting their first child together. At 40 years old,Teresa is stepping into motherhood with a heart that has waited, hoped, and fought so hard for this moment. 🥹🫶🏼

For many couples, the first step into parenthood starts with a fur baby. 🐾

Then comes a new chapter—a baby of their own. While life naturally shifts with all the excitement and adjustments that come with welcoming a newborn, don’t forget about your first baby. Your fur baby is family too, and they still want nothing more than to be loved and included.

That’s why I highly recommend in-home newborn sessions. Not only are they the most comfortable and relaxed for new parents, but they’re also the perfect way to include your pets in these special memories. Getting dogs to cooperate for photos isn’t always easy, but being in their own environment makes all the difference.

After all, they were part of your story long before your little one arrived. 🤍🐶 Congratulations Tyler + Bri - I’m beyond honored that I was able to do your very first family portraits with Nainoa. I can’t wait to become his favorite crazy aunty. 🥰🙋🏻‍♀️

Had the best time exploring Carmel w/ our fur baby .pomsky 🐶 Carmel is one of the most dog friendly places I’ve ever visited. Mad shout out to for such a fun and unforgettable experience. This incredible duo literally ran the Honolulu Marathon the weekend before their wedding… and somehow still showed up with the best energy, biggest smiles, and ready to party like champs. I’m seriously so impressed — the endurance doesn’t stop at the finish line with these two. 🫶🏼🏁

Kara told me she didn’t want a traditional dress… and wow, she meant it. This was hands down one of the most epic wedding dresses I’ve ever seen — the kind that completely stops you in your tracks and becomes the moment. ✨🌸👰🏻‍♀️

From the second she stepped out, it was clear this dress was the main attraction… bold, unique, and so perfectly her. Paired with such an elegant and beautiful celebration, every detail just felt intentional and elevated.
